Disha, an initiative run by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust organised a seminar on Holistic Health at Innocent Hearts School, Green Model Town.
Jalandhar, July 4, 2022: Disha, an initiative run by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust organised a seminar on Holistic Health at Innocent Hearts School, Green Model Town. This was conducted for well- being of the staff and students. It was a live telecast on Youtube too.The resource person was Veena Gupta, holistic healer and certified NLP mind and wellness coach and ECSF coach by success legacy.
She emphasised that for holistic health physical, mental and social wellness are important. To remain physically fit, she demonstrated the appropriate way of breathing. She told us that words have power, so we should avoid the use of words like Less, Loss and Never. She said these words are the root cause of anxiety and depression. The words love, give, grow and learn, add positivity to life. The importance of appreciation and gratitude were focused. She motivated everyone to do mind mapping, visualisation and positive affirmations.
She explained that the right choice of food and place to eat is important. According to her, the new techniques and gadgets have confined the world but it is necessary to spend time in a group for social and individual upliftment. In the end, Shally Bowry, Executive Director schools gave a memento to the resource person.
Sharmila Nakra, Deputy Director of Cultural Affairs thanked the resource person for the fruitful and productive session.
