Innocent Hearts organises 'Bestowal to the Best' Annual Prize Distribution Function
The students from all the five schools of Innocent Hearts participated with great enthusiasm
Jalandhar, December 24, 2021: Under the aegis of Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, an Annual Prize Distribution Function 'Bestowal to the Best' was organized at Innocent Hearts School, Green Model Town, Jalandhar. The students from all the five schools of Innocent Hearts participated with great enthusiasm. Shri Rajeev Verma, PCS, (Additional Chief Administrator, JDA) was the Chief Guest. On this occasion, Dr. Upasana Rajeev Verma, Secretary of Ladies Jullundhar GymKhana Club, Dr. Romesh Sood, President of the Trust, Dr. Anup Bowry, Chairman of Innocent Hearts Group, Dr. Chander Bowry, Managing Director - Health Services, Mrs. Aradhana Bowry, Executive Director - Finance, Colleges and Health, Mr. Sandeep Jain, Trustee, CA Mr. Sareen (Financial Advisor) and other members of the Trust were present on the occasion. The program started with the lighting of the lamp. On this occasion, a welcome dance Shivdhuni was presented by the children along with chanting of mantra, which made the whole ambience spiritual. This was followed by a dance performance by the children on various songs of Bollywood which enthralled everyone. Dr. Dheeraj Banati, Deputy Director explained about the commendable efforts and works being done by the Trust. He said that not only in the field of education, but also in the field of medicine, the Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust has done commendable work by achieving many achievements. Like every year, this year also the meritorious students who secured more than 90% marks in class 10th and 12th were awarded with prizes. Scholarships were provided by the Trust to the students who excelled in academics. The best players of various games at International, National and State level were also awarded. The students who won the Solo Dance and Singing Competition in the Carnival gave their performance and were awarded with Best Singer and Best Dancer Awards. Lazy dance and hip hop dances were performed by the children which captivated the audience. The whole program was conducted by the students very well. The Chief Guest highly appreciated the colourful cultural program presented by the children. He also appreciated work done by the Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust for the betterment of the society. This institution has always been striving for the all-round development of the children. He told everyone to take a pledge to plant five plants today to make the city green. The chief guest was honoured with a token of love and affection by Dr. Anup Bowry and Dr. Chander Bowry. A souvenir was presented to Dr. Upasna Verma by Mrs. Aradhana Bowry. The program ended with Punjabi Folk Dance, Bhangra which stole the show. The event concluded with the National Anthem.
