Innocent Hearts School celebrates National Space Day with enthusiasm
Innocent Hearts School, Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt.- Jandiala Road, Noorpur and Kapurthala Road observed National Space Day with great zeal and enthusiasm, organizing a series of exciting events to ignite the spark of curiosity and interest in space exploration among students.
Jalandhar, August 23, 2024: Innocent Hearts School, Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt.- Jandiala Road, Noorpur and Kapurthala Road observed National Space Day with great zeal and enthusiasm, organizing a series of exciting events to ignite the spark of curiosity and interest in space exploration among students.
The day began with a quiz competition, where students from various classes participated with fervour, testing their knowledge about space and astronomy. The quiz was designed to challenge the students' understanding of the universe, planets, and space missions.
Following the quiz, a poster-making competition was held, where students showcased their creativity by designing vibrant and informative posters on space-related themes. The posters were judged on their creativity, accuracy, and overall appeal.
The highlight of the day was a special session conducted on Chandrayaan, India's lunar exploration mission. Principals of respective schools, Rajeev Paliwal (GMT), Shallu Sehgal(Loharan), Sonali (Cantt.- Jandiala Road), Jasmeet (Noorpur) , Sheetu( Kpt Road) emphasized the importance of encouraging students' interest in STEM education and space exploration, saying, "National Space Day is a celebration of human curiosity and achievement. We aim to inspire our students to reach for the stars and contribute to the next generation of space explorers and scientists."
