Jalandhar, October 21, 2014: The festival of lights- Diwali is celebrated with great enthusiasm at Innocent Hearts School, GMT. The school campus was buzzing with festivity. The school choir sang song on Diwali during special assembly. They pledged to” Say No! “to crackers and would plant more and more trees. Along with all this they took out a rally to convey the message across the town to “Go Green! “ “Say No to crackers “and to prevent the pollution. They also took part in Non- Fire cooking activity. This was followed by The Power Point Presentation on Diwali by our students of college of Education. The teachers told the students about the importance of this festival and encouraged them to give sweets and gifts to the needy ones. This gesture can bring smile on others’ faces.
