Innocent Hearts School, Green Model Town and Loharan campus, organised an eye check-up camp for Grade II and III students
Under the aegis of Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust (BMEMT) and in collaboration with Innocent Hearts Eye Centre, Jalandhar, the eye check-up camp was conducted as a part of the school's initiative to prioritize students' health and well-being through the DISHA- an initiative.
Jalandhar, September 4, 2024: Under the aegis of Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust (BMEMT) and in collaboration with Innocent Hearts Eye Centre, Jalandhar, the eye check-up camp was conducted as a part of the school's initiative to prioritize students' health and well-being through the DISHA- an initiative.
Dr. Rohan Bowry (MS Ophthalmology), FPRS (Phaco-Refractive Surgeon, Medical Retina Specialist), and a team of medical professionals conducted comprehensive eye check-ups. He emphasized the importance of eye care, advising students to reduce screen time and shared valuable tips on maintaining eye health.
Principals Rajeev Paliwal (Green Model Town) and Shallu Sehgal (Loharan) stated, "We believe our children's health is our collective responsibility. This camp offers a valuable opportunity to monitor and protect our students' vision, and we encourage all parents to ensure their child's participation."
