Innocent Hearts School honored sports achievers with message of “A Salute to Passion”

Jalandhar, November 30, 2022: Under 'Disha- an Initiative' being run under the aegis of Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, a prize distribution ceremony was organized to honor the sports achievers of five schools of Innocent Hearts( Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt.- Jandiala Road, Royal World, and Kpt Road ).  

Lavjeet Singh (District Sports Officer, Jalandhar) was the chief guest at this function.  The program was started by kindling the lamp. Colorful cultural programs like dance, solo dance, band singing, rap, etc. were presented. Saraswati Vandana was presented by the students at the beginning of the program.  The dance performances mesmerized everyone.  Around 300 players who won at the National, State, and District levels were honored by the chief guest and other dignitaries.

Rajeev Paliwal (Deputy Director of Sports)updated us about the incessant efforts of the Disha: an initiative run by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust. He mentioned that enhancement of sports is the need of the hour and channelizes the youth to be socially aware and for their all-round development. Our all campuses are certified with Fit India. To enhance the skills of players, trust will provide 100 percent free coaching to the National Level sports achievers, in the sports available in the school.  Loharan school is going to be a sports hub soon where  shooting range of International Level, Basket Ball court( Anti Injury Surfacing) and cricket ground have been inaugurated . Besides this Soccer Table, Air Hockey Table , Self Defence( Judo, Karate and Taekwondo)  and Yoga with Meditation zone have been arranged. Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust gives concessions in tuition fees, 100 ℅ to National sports achievers,  50℅ to State Sports Achievers and 25℅ to District Sports Achievers. The stage was conducted by the students. 

On this occasion Shally Bowry, Executive Director of Schools, Aradhana Bowry Executive Director Colleges and Dr. Palak Gupta Director CSR were present. At the end, the souvenir was given to the chief guest.
