Jalandhar, October 20, 2014: Diwali –a festival of lights is celebrated in Innocent Hears School, Loharan in a different way. A special assembly was conducted in which students sang songs and recited poems. The students took an oath and vowed that they won’t burst crackers. They made different banners on “Say No to Crackers and Go Green” and took out rally to convey message to the people across the town “Save Nature, Save Life!”.
On this occasion non- fire activity was organised for the students. The B.Ed students gave Power Point Presentation on Diwali which was followed by the Quiz. The prizes were distributed to the students. The students were told about the importance of the festival – Diwali and encouraged them to save their money and help the needy ones.
