Jalandhar, November 29, 2024: The kids of Innocent Hearts School, from all five branches (Green Model Town, Loharan, Noorpur Road, Cantt.- Jandiala Road and Kapurthala Road), were taken to Gurdwara Sahib for a visit. The purpose of taking the children to this religious site was to awaken their spiritual inclination, develop spiritual and moral values in them.
All the children entered the Gurudwara Sahib in a disciplined manner, covering their heads with scarves and bowing down in front of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. The children recited the Mool Mantar and 'Satnam, Shri Waheguru' in their sweet voices, and then listened to the kirtan. Some children also participated in the shabad kirtan. The Granthi Singh of Gurudwara Sahib explained the meaning of 'Naam Japo, Vund Chako, Kirat Karo' to the children. The children received prasad with folded hands. The teachers informed the children about the works, teachings, and sacrifices of the Sikh Gurus.
