Innocent Hearts student Abhinav Thakur gives outstanding performance in Badminton

Jalandhar, January 19, 2018: Abhinav Thakur a student of Class VIII Innocent Hearts, Green Model Town gave a stellar performance in the U-15 category of the Sub Junior National Badminton Championship and secured the 4th rank at the All India level. This competition was conducted in Andhra Pradesh. On the basis of this championship the National Ranking Tournament Badminton Association has upgraded Abhinav’s rank. On the same basis Abhinav has been selected for the school nationals. Abhinav Thakur is an exceptional student who has won many medals and taken the name of the school to the skies. He has won medals in the U-13 and U-14 categories at the state level. He is the captain of the school badminton team for the Sahodaya competitions. Director Principal Sh. Dheeraj Banati, Vice-Principal and other members of the staff congratulated Abhinav and his parents on this occasion. Academic Secretary of the Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical trust, Dr. Anup Bowry congratulated Abhinav and gave him best wishes for his bright future, he said that the school was proud of Abhinav and he was being given concession in his tuition fee.
