Innocentians Make Beautiful Rakhis And Write Heart Warming Messages To Their Brothers


Jalandhar, August 5, 2017: Innocent Hearts G.M.T., Loharan and C.J.R.celebrated Raksha Bandhan with fun and frolic. A number of activities were conducted. The students made impressively beautiful rakhis and wrote heartwarming messages to their brothers. The little ones of Innokids recited wonderful poems. They told the reason for celebration of Rakhi and the importance of this festival. The tiny tots tied rakhis to one another and to the trees, they were told that trees are very important for the world and give us many things. Rakhis made by students from class 1 to class 6 are sent to Jawans on the borders every year. The aim of these activities is to keep the children in contact with their roots and culture to help them to remain grounded in life. Director Principal Mr. Dheeraj Banati congratulated the children on the festival of Rakhi and gave the message to celebrate it with great joy. The enthusiasm of the pretty looking kids in multi-coloured attire was a joy to behold. Mrs. Gurmeet Kaur – Incharge Innokids (G.M.T.), Mrs. Alka Arora (Loharan) and Mrs. Neetika Kapoor (C.J.R.) explained the importance of the festival- Raksha Bandhan to the little ones.
