Innovation and Imagination Takes Center Stage: Orchids The International School Sparks Learning Revolution with Lab-Based Education

Bengaluru, December 14, 2023: Orchids The International School, one of the leading International K12 chain of school,  well-known for its innovative efforts in progressive teaching, has launched Innovation Hubs comprising of Astronomy, Robotics, MAC Coding, Tinkering and Horticulture Labs as well as Imagination Hubs which includes Dance, Theater, Music, Weaving & Printing, Pottery & Painting Labs. 

The ten state-of-the-art labs were launched by Amulya-Kannada Actress, Shadakshari, Trustee-Orchids Yelahanka Campus, Dr Veda Bysani, VP Academics-Orchids, Tanuj Choudhry, Co-Founder & COO, HomeLane,  Jimmy Ahuja-VP Academics of STEM & Horticulture and Dr. Madhuri Sagale-VP Academics of Arts at Orchids The International School. These labs will also be available in the following Orchids campuses - Haralur, Panathur, Jalahalli, Horamavu, Kadugodi, Bannerghatta, Whitefield. The labs have been constructed by HomeLane, a tech-based interior design company providing end-to-end interior services through technological interventions.

Lab-based Education is an approach to learning that emphasizes hands-on experiences and experimentation. It is a powerful tool that can transform passive learners into active learners.  It will help to actively engage students in the learning process, conducting experiments, analyzing data, and drawing conclusions. These Hubs are aimed to equip students and help them transmit knowledge to fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.
