Decoding Gaana’s success on launch of Music Experiences and more for its audience
New Delhi, May 10, 2022: India’s most preferred music streaming app, Gaana recently, had launched two new music experiences, Gaana Live and Gaana Happy Hours, that allowed its user base to interact, engage and witness the performances of their favourite artists like never before.
Gaana Live, an exciting feature on the app designed to stream live performances of renowned and popular artists, managed to gather over 13 lakh eyeballs in just four live-streamed performances with time spent and views of 3.5 lakh minutes and 3.3 lakh, respectively. Some of the artists featured via Gaana Live are Dhwani Bhanushali, Jasleen Royal, Pankaj Udhas, and Sadhguru. Fans are on the lookout for the next new artist, which allows them the opportunity to attend their concerts from the comfort of their homes. Some of the upcoming Happy Hours episodes will have Salim Merchant, the Heropanti team, Darshan Raval, and Tulsi Kumar enthral audiences with spectacular shows. Singer Stebin Ben will headline the next Gaana Live event.
Happy Hours by Gaana, a new property by the brand, is a tete-a-tete with the country’s favourite music artists that unwind with the users in a never-seen-before candid manner. The show that has featured Meet Bros and Vishal Mishra has a unique format where guests are asked about the various lesser-known aspects of their lives merged seamlessly with their musical performances. This one-of-a-kind experience has resonated strongly with Gaana’s audience where 3 episodes released have gathered time spent and total views of 4.7 lakh minutes and 11K views respectively.
Inception and successful run of these properties are a further testament to the endeavour of the brand to build inclusive music communities that cater to audience and artists, making Gaana the ultimate destination for all things music.
Commenting on the resounding success of Gaana Live and Happy Hour, Sandeep Lodha, CEO of Gaana, said, “We at Gaana understand that our audience seeks more from their music, beyond playlists and extensive music libraries. This audience insight has been our constant source of motivation to curate novel musical experiences for them which are relevant and engaging enough to form a habit of listening to them. Audiences have showered their love on both the shows, which is a validation for our objectives in bringing these formats to the users and we will continue to explore them.”
