The event, held on July 4, 2023, showcased innovative brilliance from participants across the nation, and the results were announced on 29th February, 2024 by the Honourable Minister of MSME.

The event, held on July 4, 2023, showcased innovative brilliance from participants across the nation, and the results were announced on 29th February, 2024 by the Honourable Minister of MSME.
A team of exceptional students from CMRIT comprising Supritha S and Bellamkonda Meghana, under the mentorship of Dr. Kesavamoorthy R, emerged victorious amidst stiff competition. Their project, titled "Digital Detox: User-based Prevention of Mobile Addiction through Smart Docking System," captivated the judges with its ingenuity and potential to revolutionize digital habits.
The winning project introduces the SmartCharge Dock. This innovative solution comes with intelligent modes catering to various daily activities such as Yoga, Breakfast, Work, and Sleep. The SmartCharge Dock not only sets charging limits but also allows emergency charging for a quick 10%. It incorporates hardware to ensure once-a-day charging and immediate app logout for addictive platforms. Users can customize their charging schedule through software-guided modes, receiving timely notifications to unplug. Tailored for all ages, it is a step towards healthier tech habits and digital well-being. The initiative aims to reduce insomnia cases, promote interactive family time, and enhance battery performance, fostering a healthier digital lifestyle by encouraging self-awareness and efficient time utilization.
The Government of India, under this program, is providing the achievers with prize amounts of up to 15 lakhs to encourage and support them in the continuation of their ideas to prototype. This achievement underscores CMRIT’s commitment to nurturing innovation and fostering a culture of excellence among its students.
