Jalandhar, February 9, 2015: Lyallpur Khalsa College of Engineering organised a guest lecture for the students in the college premises. Dr.S.P Harsha from IIT- Roorkee was the speaker who interacted with the students and discussed the basics of mechanical engineering.
The basic concepts of mechanical engineering were discussed with the students with the live examples of different fields. The concept of mechanical engineering with the medical field was shared as it is helpful in making medicines. Furthermore, the students were taught about the scope of mechanical engineering with respect to physics and mathematics which is helpful in doing derivations and coming to conclusions.
Lastly, the professor was thanked for sharing his valuable ideas and knowledge with the students and thereafter he was honored with a momento as a token of remembrance by the Director, Dr.Y.S Randhawa and he appreciated the mechanical engineering department for organising the expert talk.
