Installation Ceremony of Innerwheel Club of Ludhiana held today
Inner Wheel Club Ludhiana had its installation ceremony today. The mantle of the President was again conferred on Anu Aggarwal. The other members constitute: Vice President Ranbir Kaur; Secretary Nisha Bhakoo; Joint Secretary Deepika Sharma; ISO Dr Jattinder Kaur; Editor Namrata Singhania.

Ludhiana, August 25, 2023: Inner Wheel Club Ludhiana had its installation ceremony today. The mantle of the President was again conferred on Anu Aggarwal. The other members constitute: Vice President Ranbir Kaur; Secretary Nisha Bhakoo; Joint Secretary Deepika Sharma; ISO Dr Jattinder Kaur; Editor Namrata Singhania.
`Shine a Light’ is the theme of the new year of Inner wheel clubs and the Ludhiana chapter is living up to the theme and launching meaningful projects. Notable projects which were carried out over the year included running Nirdosh School for the Mentally Challenged, Helping the Apahaj Ashram; organising tree plantation drives; collecting e-waste in coordination with Switch4change Foundation; zero waste and regular help to the flood victims.
Chief Guest Dr Iqbal Kaur, Principal of Khalsa College for Women lauded the work done by the club members and promised to help wherever she could. She appreciated the spirit of the members of the club.
Outlining the projects for the year, Secretary Nisha Bhakoo said: `We just celebrated Independance Day with a lot of fanfare. We also organised a tree plantation drive with the Rotary Club. In addition we celebrated breast feeding week at Clio Hospital run by Dr Venus Bansal.’
The meeting also saw girls being given scholarships. Three needy girls were also given bicycles.
