The Media Studies department of Institute of Fashion and Communication Technology (IFCT), hosted its first-ever Campus Influencers Meet in Mohali, bringing together young creative minds and influencers from various fields. The event, aimed at encouraging talent, promoting creativity, and fostering a culture of collaboration on campus, was a resounding success.

Mohali, December 4, 2024: The Media Studies department of Institute of Fashion and Communication Technology (IFCT), hosted its first-ever Campus Influencers Meet in Mohali, bringing together young creative minds and influencers from various fields. The event, aimed at encouraging talent, promoting creativity, and fostering a culture of collaboration on campus, was a resounding success.

Dr. Neha Miglani, Director of IFCT, highlighted the significance of such events in her opening speech: “At IFCT, we believe in promoting the boundless creativity of our students and young influencers. This event is a testament to our commitment to nurturing and encouraging the next generation of talent, who can bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the world of fashion, media, and communication. It’s not just about showcasing talent, but also about building a community where creativity is celebrated and supported.”

The Campus Influencers Meet honoured outstanding individuals in various fields, celebrating their achievements and contributions. The prestigious Awards of Excellence were presented to the young achievers. Sahil Iqbal got the 'Award of Excellence in Blogging/Vlogging' ,Divya Negi  bagged the 'Award of Excellence in Acting & Modelling', Sonika Chauhan earned the 'Award of Excellence in Fashion Influencing', Mannat Sharma received  the 'Award of Excellence in Influencing & Modelling' , M.A. Malik  was bestowed with the 'Award of Excellence in Modelling & Fashion Influencing', Varun Panwar was honoured with the 'Award of Excellence in Modelling' and Shivesh Singh got the 'Award of Excellence in Acting & Storytelling'.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, influencers, and faculty members, who exchanged ideas and discussed the importance of social media and digital platforms in today’s creative world. It was a day of inspiration, where students not only celebrated the achievements of their peers but also found motivation to continue pursuing their own creative paths.
