Jalandhar, March 01, 2025: The Department of Fine Arts of P.C.M. S. D. College for Women, Jalandhar, under the esteemed guidance of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully organized a National Webinar on “Entrepreneurship Through Mandala Art”.
The webinar aimed to explore the fusion of artistic expression with entrepreneurial opportunities, providing valuable insights into how Mandala Art can be transformed into a sustainable business.
The session was graced by two distinguished resource persons—Vinay Vaid, a renowned Mandala artist and entrepreneur, and Mrs. Rakinder Kaur, an expert in creative arts and business development. They shared their expertise on various aspects of Mandala Art, including its significance, market potential, and strategies to monetize artistic skills.
Vinay Vaid provided an in-depth understanding of Mandala Art techniques, the evolving demand for handcrafted artwork, and how artists can establish their brand in the digital space. Mrs. Rakinder Kaur elaborated on marketing strategies, customer engagement, and the role of social media in promoting Mandala-based entrepreneurship.
The interactive session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and art enthusiasts. Attendees actively engaged with the speakers through thought-provoking questions, making the session highly insightful and inspiring.
President Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and Principal Prof.(Dr.) Pooja Prashar appreciated the efforts of the Department of Fine Arts and the IIC in organizing such an innovative program.
