INTERACTION WITH VEER NARIS AT NEW MILITARY STATION KAPURTHALA

Jalandhar, July 30, 2018: A function was organised by the Army in Kapurthala to felicitate Veer Naris. The aim of the programme was to provide a forum to the Veer Naris to ameliorate their grievances with respect to their entitled benefits. A Veterans Sahayata Kendra was also established at the site to check their pension details and provide any assistance with respect to anomalies and grievances. They were made aware of the latest welfare schemes, instructions and benefits available for them and their dependents.

A health checkup camp was also organised by Integrated Health Centre (IHC) of the Army in Coordination with doctors of Ex-Serviceman Contributory Health Scheme Polyclinic. The program ended with the felicitation of the Veer Naris. The Indian Army ensured the Veer Naris of all possible support in future.
