INTERACTIVE Live Workshop on Total Revascularization & AVR Workshop to be held at HDHI

Ludhiana, August 1, 2013: Hero DMC Heart Institute is organising one-day interactive live workshop on ‘Total Revascularization” on August 3 in Hero Heart Seminar Hall from 9am to 5 pm Live interactive workshop will be conducted by renowned Cardiovasvular Thoracic Surgeon (CVTS) Dr.Sudhansu Bhattacharyya from Mumbai and Dr. Sarju Ralhan, Senior Cardiac Surgeon, HDHI.

Dr. Bhattacharyya is credited for pioneering the technique of Total arterial revascularization with LIMA-RIMA “Y” grafting in a beating heart in the world and has performed over 5000 cases by this technique since 1998. The first Hybrid bypass surgery was done on a 70 year old patient in 1998 using a new lazer technique. At 65 yrs of age, he has performed over 15,000 surgeries successfully. He has presented papers in many National and International conferences and many articles in National & International journals.

Dr. Bhattacharyya is known as the first to bring cardiac surgery to India. The techniques that he has used are not used in the best of western hospitals. He has achieved distinction by operating on many famous celebrities.

He operates on all socio-economic classes of people from common man to VIPs, rich and poor (free of charge). Cases have been referred to him requiring Redo CABG, not only from India but from all over e.g. U.K., Bangladesh, Pakistan, Hongkong etc. and those with a very high risk of surgery, since he has proved his expertise in handling such complicated cases with a commendable success rate.
