Dean College Development Council in association with ICSSR NWRC organized an interactive program with College Principals and faculty members of affiliated colleges for implementation of NEP aligned curriculum and credit scheme from the session 2024-25 at Rajiv Gandhi College Bhawan, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Chandigarh, December 15, 2023: Dean College Development Council in association with ICSSR NWRC organized an interactive program with College Principals and faculty members of affiliated colleges for implementation of NEP aligned curriculum and credit scheme from the session 2024-25 at Rajiv Gandhi College Bhawan, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

The session was presided over by Prof Renu Vig, Vice-Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Prof. Rumina Sethi, Dean University Instruction apprised the participating Principals and faculty members about various aspects of implementation of the scheme in relation to the vision and mission of NEP.

Prof Sanjay Kaushik, Dean College development Council and Hon. Director ICSSR invited the college principals and faculty members to share their views and challenges so that pro actively solutions to each issue can be designed. Prof Latika Sharma, shared the NEP guidelines and lists of approved courses in the baskets of SEC, VAC and multidisciplinary / interdisciplinary courses which have been uploaded on University website for the colleges to take informed decisions about courses which they can offer as per their infrastructure. NEP was elaborated at length by her.

Dr. Keerti Vardhan shared the journey of implementation of new NEP aligned scheme at Department of Evening Studies – Multi Disciplinary Research Centre for BA and B. Com courses as an illustration of how to put the program in action. The queries of Principals and faculty members of affiliated colleges for implementation of various aspects of NEP were discussed with the panel comprising Prof Rumina Sethi, Prof Sanjay Kaushik, Prof Anil Monga, Prof Anuradha, Prof Latika Sharma and Dr. Keerti Vardhan.
