Ludhiana: As per the directions of honorable CMD PSPCL Shri A. Venu Parsad, Director Distribution, PSPCL Er. D.P.S. Grewal and Er. Bhupinder Khosla Chief Engineer/DS Central Zone, PSPCL, an interactive session was held by Er. Himat Singh Dhillon Deputy Chief Engineer, Khanna Circle with newly appointed JEs posted in Khanna circle, at Mandi Gobindgarh, where in, the newly appointed JEs were motivated to do their duty with honesty and complete dedication.
Beside this, they were also motivated to work tirelessly for providing uninterrupted supply and the best possible customer service to the esteemed consumers of PSPCL and to be very polite while dealing with the consumers.
Thereafter basic knowledge was imparted regarding basic documents concerning stores like S.Rs, SRWs, EMB’s, IWR’s etc. and how to use them for drawing material from stores and regarding its proper use and accountal, how to work safely on lines/equipment keeping in view the instructions contained in PSPCL Safety Code in order to avoid accidents, how to prepare Technical Feasibility Reports for large connections, thermal rating of various sizes of ACSR, voltage drop limits and voltage levels for different quantum of requisitioned load, different types of meters being used in PSPCL, multiplying factors, recording readings and maintaining proper meter sealing records etc.
Er. Jastej Singh Tiwana/Ds Division Mandi Gobindgarh also addressed the JE’s.
