New Delhi, August 22, 2015: In association with My Wall, JD Institute of Fashion Technology on 22nd August held a workshop for Interior Students with an agenda of empowering students about wallpaper printing and how it can be used for enhancing their creativity. 
 
My Wall has over 17 years of experience in the printing industry and is the authorized licensee for WALT DISNEY for home décor with 8000+ characters including Mickey Mouse & Friends, Winnie the Pooh, Princess, Cars, Marvel, Spiderman, Ironman &many more.
 
The main aim of workshop was empowering students with basic Knowledge about wallpaper printing, possibilities in digital printing, and benefits of customized printing.
 
Students were given a brief about the printing and detailed information was given about the benefits of digital printing over pre-manufactured wallpapers. Apart from this, a wallpaper designing contest was also held in which students had to create an artwork based on one of the themes-Wall for Kids room, Reception area for Design school, Wall for Newlywed couple, Reception area for Play school.
 
The jury comprising of Mr.Sukhvinder Singh, Director of Print Expressions choose top 3 performers from the contest and the winners were awarded with certificates and a momentum to recognize the efforts of the winners.
Mr.RC Dalal, Executive Director, JD Institute of Fashion Technology says, “Students of JD Institute of Fashion technology can be found designing for a variety of settings, such as schools, homes, restaurants, airports or office buildings. They are skilled in both architectural and decorating aspects of interior space. Such workshops will help in grooming the students making them understand which style and aesthetic languages are more appropriate for fashion trend luxury housing and the use of creatively researched elements and images to elaborate the concept.”
