International Conference on AI and ML concludes
International Conference on “Computing Advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)” (CCAAIML 2024) concluded at Panjab University, Chandigarh, here today.
Chandigarh, December 17, 2024: International Conference on “Computing Advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)” (CCAAIML 2024) concluded at Panjab University, Chandigarh, here today. The Department of Computer Science & Applications had organised the two-day International Conference, which witnessed a convergence of leading experts and innovators in the field.
The PU Registrar Prof. Y. P. Verma was the chief guest at the valedictory session. He appreciated the conference & motivated the participants towards research & development.
Scholars and practitioners from different parts of the world presented their work on cutting-edge computing communications and applied informatics. The CCAAIML 2024 received an overwhelming response & close to 100 abstracts were shortlisted under the tracks of AI and Deep Learning, Data Communication and Computer Networks, Deep Intelligence for Interdisciplinary Research & Immersive Technologies. Emphasising new approaches and advanced computing solutions, the event was aimed to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration in AI, Machine Learning and related fields.
Earlier, Principal Scientist at the Centre of Data for Public Good (CDPG), FSID, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru Dr. Jyotirmoy Dutta delivered talk on “Driven the Digital Public Infrastructure growth story with Data Exchanges". His talk was related to Data Exchange and other initiatives related to Government projects.
Joint Director at C-DAC Mohali Dr. Balwinder Singh spoke on CDAC services in AI and ML “AI driven Solutions: Case studies in Agriculture, Healthcare and Rewards”.
Applied Scientist II at Amazon Ads Dr. Mahamad Suhil, captivated the audience with his talk on “Efficient Fine-tuning of LLMs". His talk was related to Natural Language Processing (NLP) and large language models challenges in near future.
