International conference on theme “Recent Rehabilitation Strategies for management of Stress and Anxiety among students and teachers”

Chandigarh, August 11, 2023: Health Centre and BGJ Institute of Health Panjab University Chandigarh in collaboration with National Rehabilitation Institute (NRI) Chandigarh, Ladakh University and South Asian Behavioral Health (SABH) Foundation, SFO, USA, Swar Sanjeevani Kala Kendra, Panchkula is organizing on international conference on the theme“Recent Rehabilitation Strategies for management of Stress and Anxiety among students and teachers” on 11th and 12th August 2023 at CIL Seminar Hall of Panjab University Chandigarh. This conference will be attended by prominent national and International Faculty, researchers and students from the field of rehabilitation of various disabilities like mental illness, mental health and deafness. 

Focus of this international conference was on various rehabilitation strategies like psychotherapy, occupation therapy, music therapy and speech therapy and mental health programs to manage Stress and Anxiety among Students & Teachers. BGJ Institute of Health Centre of Panjab University, Chandigarh is providing health services to the large number of employees of Panjab University since long time. This institute is headed by Dr. Rupinder Kaur, Chief Medical Officer and it has been possible under her noble guidance to organize this International Conference in Panjab University. This conference will spread the awareness among people and health professionals about the various rehabilitation strategies for management of Stress and Anxiety. There will be 35 speaker including 4 international faculty attending this conference.

This is to inform you that first schedule of Counselling for B. Ed. General is concluded on 10 & 11 August 2023. Counseling for B. Ed Yoga and Special Education will be commenced from tomorrow i.e.12 August 2023.
