International Day for Women and Girls in Science observed at Sanskriti KMV School
Event proceeded with the online Webinar
Jalandhar: Observing the International day for Women and Girls in Science, Sanskriti KMV School held a significant session in coordination with Pushpa Gujaral Science City, both on online as well as offline platform. Day meant to honour the contribution of women and girls in the field of scientific innovation and developments as well as promote gender equality and empowerment of women and girls through science and technology. It also aims to open new avenues for present generation in the field of scientific research. Event proceeded with the online Webinar, facilitated the students and teachers to come in online contact with renowned speakers Ms. Huma Abidi, Senior Director, Artificial Intelligence Software Products & Engineering, INTEL, California, USA and Ms. Khushi Sharma, a young researcher and blogger. On this occasion, recent developments in Artificial Intelligence and medical sciences during the COVID Phase and its vaccination was also discussed. Mrs Neelima Jairath, Director PGSC, appreciated the participation by Sanskriti KMV School in an international event.
Mrs Rachna Monga, Principal in her acknowledgement address to Pushpa Gujaral Science City, mentioned the event as an appreciable initiative towards connecting the generation to the roots of science through artificial intelligence as well as providing a good environment intensifying the interest of the students in sciences.
