International level convention center to be built in Siddhbari with 130 crores: Sudhir Sharma
MLA Sudhir Sharma has announced that an international-level convention center will be constructed in Siddhbari, Dharamsala, at a cost of Rs 130 crore.
Dharamsala, June 14, 2023: MLA Sudhir Sharma has announced that an international-level convention center will be constructed in Siddhbari, Dharamshala, at a cost of Rs 130 crore. This center will not only benefit Kangra district but the entire state as well. Dharamshala is emerging as a conference city, and this convention center is a necessary addition to provide suitable seminar halls, meeting rooms, and other necessary arrangements for important conferences, meetings, and events at the state, national, and international levels. Additionally, a large facility for vehicle parking will be included in this centre. The construction work of this international-level convention center will commence soon.
During the Public Grievance Redressal Camp held at Siddhbari in Dharamsala, Ex Minister Sudhir Sharma also mentioned the development of a tourism village at Narghota and the construction of ice skating and roller skating rinks in Sakoh areas of this tourist city Dharamsala. These efforts will give a new dimension to tourism in the region and create new employment opportunities for the youth.
Furthermore, Sudhir Sharma announced the rejuvenation of the Dhagwar Milk Plant with Rs 250 crore, which will be built with new technology. This plant will provide better facilities to the people and create employment opportunities. The state government is focusing on the all-round development of Kangra district and taking decisive steps to develop it as a tourism capital.
The construction of the convention center and other development projects will undoubtedly boost the tourism industry and create a positive impact on the economy of the region.
