Ludhiana, January 31, 2025: DMC&H has successfully performed bariatric surgeries on two international patients one from Canada weighing 110 kg and another from Africa with the weighing 160 kg.
The surgeries were performed by a team of highly skilled bariatric surgeon including Dr. P.S. Nain and Dr Ashish Ahuja from Professors of Surgery. Dr. Anubhav Sharma, Assistant Professor, Department of Orthopaedics, emphasized the significance bariatric surgery in preserving joint health and preventing long-term complications associated with obesity.
