International poetic confluence virtually held 

Ludhiana: Post Graduate department of English, Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College organised an International Poetic Confluence virtually, which is one of its kind. The festival started with the welcome address by Dr. S. P. Singh (former Vice-Chancellor, GNDU, Amritsar) President, Gujranwala Khalsa Educational Council. In his address he appreciated and applauded the relentless endeavours of Dr. Sushmindarjeet Kaur, head, P.G. department of English, the organiser and mind behind this mesmerising event. He told that around forty poets had participated in this festival belonging to various states of India and abroad. While introducing the chair of the festival, Dr. Jernail Singh Anand, Dr. Sushmindarjeet Kaur told that he has authored more than seventy books of English Poetry, Fiction, Non-Fiction, and Spirituality. After retiring as a Principal, he is now working as a Professor emeritus at Institute of European Roma Studies and Research Belgrade, Serbia.
A few of the eminent poets who had played a pivotal role in offering an enriching and enthralling experience of this festival were, Ade Caparas Manilah from Australia, Tariq Muhammad from USA, Dr. Jaydeep Sarangi from West Bengal, Bozica from Serbia, Dr. Bhagirath from New Delhi, Dr. Bina from Varanasi, Dr. Nagasuseela and Dr. Gopichand from Andhra Pradesh, Dr. Laksmisree from Jharkhand, Dr. Seema from Punjab, Ms. Hela and Ms. Houda from Tunisia, and many other. Apart from these poets, a few budding poets had also got an opportunity to share their creation with the listeners, Ms. Gurleen Sandhu (BCA II) Punjab, Ms. Garima Bhayana (research scholar) Haryana.
