International Tiger Day 2023 celebrated at Ludhiana Zoo Tiger Safari
Portrait dedicated to International Tiger Day 2023 “Let’s pledge to protect our National Animal Tiger” launched by the Forest and Wild Life Preservation Department at Ludhiana Zoo.
Ludhiana, July 29, 2023: As the World unites to celebrate International Tiger's Day, so has been a day of celebration to mark the significance of Tigers in Ludhiana Zoo, wherein a Captivating Portrait of the well preserved Tigers at Ludhiana Zoo namely Nav & Chirag were launched by the officials of Forest and Wildlife Preservation at Ludhiana Zoo with aim to highlight the importance of National Animal, Tiger. A significant portrait meticulously crafted by eminent Environmentalist & Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu portraying the Two Tigers of Ludhiana Zoo depicting “Tigers have always Inspired us to be strong and they also have a special place on Earth”. The portrait dedicated to International Tiger Day serves as a reminder of the importance of tiger conservation and the preservation of their habitat.
The event organized to mark significance of International Tiger Day at Ludhiana Zoo being a step to promote Ludhiana Zoo particularly the Tiger Safari within the citizens of Ludhiana enabling them to witness the live Tigers which are open to the public and preserved well in Tiger Safari at Ludhiana Zoo.
Divisional Forest Officer, Vikram Singh Kundra I.F.S, Incharge Ludhiana Zoo Pritpal Singh and the Assistant incharge Ludhiana Zoo Narinder Singh applauded the visionary efforts of Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu for compiling Pictorial visuals of Tigers of Ludhiana Zoo which will highlight the majesty of Tigers within the citizens of Ludhiana which will encourage them to witness the National animal ‘Tiger’ which is preserved well in our city at Tiger Safari in Ludhiana Zoo.
