Interstate Youth Exchange Program at Ludhiana from Feb 3-7

As per the guidelines received from NYKS, Min of Youth Affairs & Sports - NYK Ludhiana is organising  a 5-day “Interstate Youth Exchange Program” from February 3-7 at Punjab Agricultural University. In this program, 25 youth participants plus 2 escorts from the state of Uttarakhand will be participating in ISYEP, Ludhiana.

Ludhiana, February 4, 2025: As per the guidelines received from NYKS, Min of Youth Affairs & Sports - NYK Ludhiana is organising  a 5-day “Interstate Youth Exchange Program” from February 3-7 at Punjab Agricultural University. In this program, 25 youth participants plus 2 escorts from the state of Uttarakhand will be participating in ISYEP, Ludhiana.

Through this innovative measure, the knowledge of the culture, traditions and practices of different States & UTs will lead to an enhanced understanding and bonding between the States, thereby strengthening the unity and integrity of India. The objective of the program is to facilitate cultural exchange and enhance understanding among youth from different states through various means such as language learning, cuisine sharing, and structured activities. 

Therefore, in order to promote mutual exchange of traditions, culture and values between the states, 60 Inter State Youth Exchange Programmes (ISYEP) will be organized during the year 2024-25. Also, to showcase the rich heritage and culture, customs and traditions of either state for enabling people to understand and appreciate the diversity that is India, thus fostering a serve of common identity.

Rashmeet Kaur, Deputy Director, NYK Ludhiana told that In this 5-day Program, the opening ceremony was held on 3rd Feb 2025 at PAU, Ludhiana in which Raminder Singh Sangowal, District President BJP and Anil Mittal were present as guests for the lamp Lightening ceremony and welcomed the participants of Uttarakhand to the land of Gurus – Punjab. They also extended their warm support to any program to be organised for the participants in Ludhiana. The participants from Uttarakhand also gave their views about the culture of their state and their expectations from the program. The Team of NYK Ludhiana Amit Verma and Kapil Kumar also welcomed the participants for the 5 day program in Ludhiana planned with cultural exchange program , awareness sessions , industrial visit , historical visits etc.
