Invest Punjab showcases its strength at Taiwan ASEAN-India Investment Partnership Forum Taipei

Ludhiana, July 24, 2019: Upkar Singh Ahuja, CMD, Newswan Group and President Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertaking is part of delegation from Invest Punjab, the state’s investment promotion and facilitation agency, is in Taiwan from July 22 to 27 to discuss the potential economic and trade partnerships, talent exchanges, and resource sharing between Punjab and Taiwan.

Besides the State Government representatives, including Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Investment Promotion, Vini Mahajan IAS and Invest Punjab Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rajat Agarwal IAS, the delegation would comprise senior leadership of Punjab-based corporates including Hero Electric managing director (MD) Naveen Munjal, Hero Cycles director Abhishek Munjal, Pratham Mittal LPU, Rohit Mittal Solcen Infra, Gaurav Khanna and Vishnu Parshad Panday Officials from Invest Punjab among others.

Punjab has selected Taiwan as a focus country due to the plethora of investment opportunities and potential business synergies possible in the bicycle and bicycle components, electric vehicles, electronics, light engineering, auto components, skill development and textiles sectors.

ACS (Investment Promotion) Vini Mahajan and Invest Punjab CEO Rajat Agarwal addressed the gathering and Showed detailed Presentation at Taiwan-ASEAN-India Strategic Partnership Forum in Taipei and Hsinchu to showcase the readiness of Punjab to cater to the industrial requirements of Taiwanese companies.

Many Investors showed keen interest to invest in India and Punjab other Asian countries also presented the country advantages, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam etc.
