Investiture Ceremony at Apeejay School

Jalandhar, July 25, 2024: The Investiture Ceremony of Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, organised under the auspices of Sushma Paul Berlia (Chairperson, Apeejay Education, Co-Founder and Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, Chairperson and President, Apeejay Stya and Swaran Group, Chairperson, Apeejay Stya Education Research Foundation),  was a grand and solemn occasion, marking the formal installation of the school's student council. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Principal Sangeeta Nistandra, who was the Guest of the Day.

The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of knowledge and wisdom. This was followed by a soulful invocation, setting a serene and respectful tone for the proceedings.
The school song was then performed, filling the hall with a sense of pride and unity among the students and faculty. The felicitation ceremony of the Head Boy, Head Girl, and Sports Captain was a moment of pride for the entire school community.

The new Head Boy, Arnav Chopra, and Head Girl, Janvi Sharma, delivered inspiring speeches, expressing their gratitude and outlining their visions for the academic year. This was followed by the felicitation of the House Prefectorial Board, where the House Captains, Vice Captains, and Prefects of all four houses were honoured.

The oath-taking ceremony was a significant highlight of the event, with Principal Ms. Sangeeta Nistandra administering the oath to the newly appointed student leaders. They pledged to uphold the values and responsibilities entrusted to them, promising to lead with integrity and dedication.

In her address to the parents and council, Principal Ms. Sangeeta Nistandra emphasized the importance of leadership, responsibility, and the role of the student council in fostering a positive school environment. She encouraged the new leaders to be role models and to work collaboratively to achieve their goals.

A group photograph was taken to commemorate the occasion, capturing the proud moments of the newly appointed leaders and the school staff. The ceremony also included the felicitation of NOF Olympiad winners, celebrating the academic achievements of the students.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the coordinator, Deepti Kaushal, expressing gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the ceremony, followed by the National Anthem, instilling a sense of patriotism and unity among the attendees.

The Investiture Ceremony was a memorable event, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the student leaders of Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar. It was a day of pride, promise, and inspiration for the entire school community.
