Ireo bats for good health in Ludhiana!

Ludhiana, April 19, 2015: It was a healthy start to Sunday morning for the people of Ludhiana city and residents of the Ireo's Waterfront township, at Sidhwan Canal Road. Over a 1000 enthusiastic Ludhianvis kick-started the day with a boot camp, which had been organised to help spread the message of fitness, and benefits of adopting a healthy life-style.

Over 300 people participated in competitive games like the cycle race, dirt biking, slow cycling, archery, football, golf putting, badminton and several others. Another 400 people elected for non-competitive activities such as Zumba, Bhangra, Aerobics, Yoga and meditation. Even those who didn't part-take in the activities thoroughly enjoyed the high-energy atmosphere of the morning as they cheered on the participants. Ireo’s boot camp was attended by entire families, as well as participants of all age groups.

Speaking on the occasion,  Madhukar Tulsi, President at Ireo, commented: “It is heartening to witness Ireo Waterfront turning into anepicenter of cultural and social activities. Events like these are essential in promoting healthy lifestyle and also instill spirit of leadership and camaraderie among participants. Through such events we want to promote the concept of open living amongst residents of IREO Waterfront and people of Ludhiana.  

Supported by the Cremica, Apollo Hospitals, Ludhiana Paddlers group; and brands like Coca Cola, Burn and Decathlon; Ireo has plans to run this boot camp as a monthly activity in the future with more engaging activities.

Ireo has been actively organising social and cultural events for residents of the township and Ludhiana City. The group recently hosted a very successful 'Dog and FlowerShow', Kite-flying festival on Makar Sakranti, wine tasting and grape stomping extravaganza, Ludhiana Art Beat 2014 and the Ireo Super Chef Challenge.

Ireo Waterfront comprises of high-end villas, apartments, business parks, schools, healthcare facilities and a five-star clubhouse backed by state-of-the-art infrastructure. The township also boasts of creation and sports centre, badminton court, tennis court, walkway around the lake, polo and cricket ground for the residents.
