IT’S TRUE: Home town of CM’s Political Advisor faces many problems!

Ferozepur, November 16, 2012: To solve the problems of cleanliness, sewerage, water supply, roads and other development works in Ferozpeur City, a special meeting was held under the chairmanship of Kamal Sharma, Political Advisor to Chief Minister, Punjab with Chunni Lal Bhagat, Minister for Local Governments and Som Parkash, CPS.

Suresh Kumar, Secretary, Local Bodies, Ashok Gupta, Director, Satpal MD Sewerage Board, Ashwani Grover, president, Municipal Council, Ferozepur City and officers of the concerned departments were also present.

On the occasion, Sharma informed Chunni Lal Bhagat that Ferozepur is an old and historical city and its citizens are facing lot of problems relating to development of the city.   He demanded from the minister to immediately solve the problem of cleanliness, sewerage, street lights, drinking water etc. in the vicinity of municipal council. He further said, Ferozepur is his own city and he wishes that its citizens should not face any problem.

Bhagat and Som Parkash directed the officers to submit him a detailed master plan about the development works to be carried out with estimated cost.

Chunni Lal Bhagat assured the deputation to release the required amount for the development works in the city, on priority.
