IT Conclave organized at PCTE Group of Institutes

Ludhiana, April 29, 2022: The Department of Computer Science of PCTE Group of Institutes organized an IT- Breakthrough 2.0 Conclave to discuss the emerging trends in Information Technology. The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest- Mr. Ranjit Singh, Director, CCS Global Tech, the Keynote Speaker- Mr. Tarundeep Singh, Digital Marketing Head, Techies India Inc. and the Guest Speaker- Mr. Jaskanwal Singh, BDM, Techies India Inc.

Mr. Ranjit Singh made the students visualise the path to billions of dollars worth industry by working for the US government. He enriched and guided the students to select the exact career path for prospering in their IT profession. Mr. Tarundeep Singh emphasized on listening to inner voice. Along with enhancing the skills of multiple trades, a professional must specialise in a particular domain in vertical depth. Mr. Jaskanwal Singh made the student aware about market segmentation according to the number of internet users across the globe and the skill set required for effective application of artificial intelligence and digital marketing.

The conclave concluded with technical talk delivered by Mr. Ishant Kumar, Director, Auribises Technologies Pvt. Limited. Mr. Kumar enlightened the audience on the latest trends in application development across the globe.

Mr. Harinder Pal Singh, Head of Department, PCTE Institute of Engineering and Technology said that IT is the need of hour since everything is getting digitalised. He further added by saying that post pandemic the scope of IT professionals in every business has increased and discussions like these help the students to explore various aspects of the industry.

Dr. Kapil Prashar, Dean Engineering, PCTE Institute of Engineering and Technology said that the conclave provided immense information to the students and further added by saying that it is important for the students to know about the trends in the IT sector and acquiring it from the professionals gives a lot of motivation and exposure to the students.
