Ivy World School celebrates Earth Day

Jalandhar, April 22, 2019: Ivy World School, Jalandhar run by I-League Education organized Earth Day celebration in School premises.
The little Angels of Ivy World School along with the educators celebrated Earth Day with lot of enthusiasm. The aim was to sensitize the students towards their role in addressing global environmental challenges at the grass root level.
The children also participated in creative activities like slogan writing, Head Band Coloring, Thumb Painting, Poster Making and Poem Writing displaying their artistic and linguistic skills while showcasing their awareness about conserving natural resources. The students and faculty members took a pledge during the occasion. The students took part in a march past also and were involved in shouting slogans like ‘Save Earth’ and ‘Go Green’.
School Principal Mrs S. Chauhan addressed and reminded the children of their responsibility towards Mother Earth and administered a pledge to protect and save our fast depleting natural resources The celebration concluded with the National Anthem and the belief that the students would respect their natural inheritance by being caretakers of their planet.
