Jalandhar, July 19, 2019: The dexterous Ivyians stole the show at The Open District Shooting Championship held at P.A.P Shooting range, Jalandhar.
The students exhibited their competence and bagged a haul of medals in the competition under numerous categories. Under I.S.S.F, Mansi Makkar of Grade XII won three gold medals in Junior, Youth and senior category in Air Pistol Event for women.
Under N.R.A Opens sight Air Rifle Youth Women category, Chandanpreet Kaur of Grade VII bagged the gold medal, Harleen Kaur of Grade VII bagged the silver medal and Guranayat Kaur of Grade VII bagged the bronze medal.
To add, Under N.R.A Open Sight Air Rifle Women Junior Category, students of Grade X brought laurels, Yuvika Sehgal won the gold medal, Tanvi Arora won the silver medal and Sania David won the bronze medal.
In the N.R.A Open Sight Air Riffle Senior Women Category, Parmeet Kaur of Grade X was awarded the gold medal, Gurleen Kaur of Grade XI won the silver medal and Gurjot Kaur of Grade XI won the bronze medal.
The Under N.R.A Open Sight Air Riffle Junior Men, U-14 men category also witnessed heartning performances of Gurpinder Singh and Arnav Chawla who won the bronze medals.
