Jalandhar, April 23, 2024: Ivy World School, Jalandhar under the aegis of Vasal Education Group organized a One-day workshop on Cyber Crime Awareness. The workshop aimed to educate the students on using technology constructively and reporting criminal activities.
Dr. Rakshit Tandon, a renowned cybercrime expert, emphasized various aspects of cybercrime prevention, pros and cons of usage of internet and cyber safety. The session was very interactive and the students were told about use and misuse of Facebook, instagram, snapchat, e-mail ids, messages, downloads etc. It was an eye opener for them as in their own innocence and immaturity they could land in trouble but their awareness would be their own protection. Tandon elaborated on how to protect their security and follow the safety rules.
The President,Vasal Education Group, K K Vasal, The Chairman, Sanjeev Kumar Vasal, The Vice President, Ena Vasal, The CEO, Raghav Vasal and The Director, Aditi Vasal highlighted that safety of the students is of foremost importance for the school. The workshop received positive feedback for its enlightening and interactive session.
The Principal, echoed the sentiment that cybercrime awareness is not merely an educational imperative but a societal obligation encompassing students, teachers, and parents alike.
