IVYIANS pay homage on martyrdom day of Mahatma Gandhi
The students of Ivy World School, under the aegis of the Vasal Education Society paid a floral tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on 30th January, to mark his martyrdom day.
Jalandhar, January 31, 2024: The students of Ivy World School, under the aegis of the Vasal Education Society paid a floral tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on 30th January, to mark his martyrdom day.
The tribute marked the death anniversary of ‘The Father of the Nation’. A two-minute silence was also observed in the classes and the students paid their tributes by taking a pledge that they would follow the path of truth and non-violence shown by him.
In the memory of Gandhi's sacrifice and to honour his legacy, the Ivyians were enlightened about his views and philosophies of leading a simple, peaceful and non-violent life.
The President, K K Vasal, The Chairman, Sanjeev Kumar Vasal, The Vice President, Ena Vasal, The CEO, Raghav Vasal and The Director, Aditi Vasal conveyed that ‘Mahatma’ was the one who gave the message of selfless love, sacrifice and humanity which is the guiding light for generations to come.
The Principal, also paid homage to Gandhi and highlighted his contribution in the country's freedom struggle.
