Jalandhar, March 6, 2025: IWC of Jalandhar conducted its monthly general meeting on 5th March and celebrated the upcoming festivals under the Presidentship of Punam Jagota.All the members and Respected PDCs were welcomed by Flowers and Holi colours.
The meeting was followed by lighting of Diya and a beautiful Mantra chant by Anju Sharma.
President Punam Jagota briefed about the projects to be done and discussed forthcoming project's. A beautiful poem on women’s day was recited by Dalbir.
The guest speaker, renowned social worker, Parveen Abrol, spoke on women’s empowerment, how we can fight against the violence and wrongs committed against women and she told us what we can do to improve our society and be strong.
Birthday and anniversaries were announced by secretary Inderkiran Toor ji and plants were given to the members.
Meeting was very well organised by the project directors Kavita Jairath and Nimmi Chaudhary and few fun games were prepared by them on the theme of women’s day and holi.A token of love was given to them by president Beautiful prizes were given to the winners.
The meeting hall was beautifully decorated with themes of Women's day, Holi and Navratre.
Members danced and enjoyed on the tunes of Holi songs.
Vote of thanks was given by Vice president Anju sharma.
The meeting was full of fun and frolic.40 members including PDC Jagbans Toor and PDC Kumud Sehgal attended the meeting
