IWC of Jalandhar executed several impactful community service projects
Under the leadership of Punam Jagota, IWC of Jalandhar has executed several impactful community service projects. These initiatives focused on aiding vulnerable groups, supporting education, and promoting health and wellness.

Jalandhar, March 17, 2025: Under the leadership of Punam Jagota, IWC of Jalandhar has executed several impactful community service projects. These initiatives focused on aiding vulnerable groups, supporting education, and promoting health and wellness.
• Support for a Grieving Mother: Financial assistance was provided to a widow who lost her son in an accident, helping her afford his last rites.
• Ration Distribution: Essential rations were distributed to widows and families in need, offering them much-needed support during difficult times.
• School Support: Assistance was provided to a slum-area school by donating sheets to cover classrooms, creating a better environment for the children to study. Birthday Celebration for Slum Children: The club celebrated a club member’s son’s birthday with slum children, organizing fun activities and distributed eatables. Children enjoyed dancing, reciting poems and a joyful time together.The projects director was Nimmi Chaudhary.
• Recognition and Service:
Honour from Civil Hospital: To mark the women 's day members of IWC of Jalandhar were honoured by Civil Hospital, Jalandhar for their outstanding contributions to society particularly in healthcare. The club received two trophies in recognition of their work.
The club participated in a blood donation drive, with nurses and doctors donating blood voluntarily.
Members attended the projects were Secretary Inderkiran Toor, Dr.Harjinder, Anita Chawla, Niru Chawla ,Pooja Saini and Kirtan Sachdeva.
