Dharamshala, August 16, 2019: Dr.Rajiv Bhardwaj, Chairman, Kangra Central Cooperative Bank, said in a press statement today that all-round development is taking place in Himachal Pradesh under the chief ministership of Jai Ram Thakur.

He said that Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, has announced financial assistance of Rs.20,000 per year to ex-servicemen and their dependents who were not getting pension and who are more than 60 years of age on Independence Day.

Dr.Bhardwaj added, “CM has announced to abolish the examination fees of women candidates in any Exam conducted by Himachal Public Service Commission and State Subordinate Service Selection Board. CM has given basket full of the benefits to the people of Himachal. He has announced 4% dearness allowance to the state employees and pensioners.”

He said that the Chief Minister increased financial assistance of Rs.3000 to Rs.10000 to the soldiers of the second world war and assistance to war widows from Rs.3000 to Rs.5000.

He said that Thakur government shall now provide free books to general class students of 9th to 12th classes studying in government schools, which was earlier available only to the students of the reserve categories. He said that now 65,000 students of Himachal Pradesh will get the benefit of free books.

He said that the proposed global investors meet at Dharamshala in November 19 shall open countless avenues for development in the state and fresh job opportunities to the youth at their door steps. Himachal CM is working hard for its success for the past year and so.
