Jalandhar-based NHS Hospital starts free of cost dialysis for patients suffering from chronic kidney failure issues
Leading multi-specialty hospital NHS Hospital, Jalandhar has started free of cost dialysis facility to the patients as a part of their CSR initiative.
Jalandhar, January 5, 2022: with the 20-year-old epidemic of diabetes chronic kidney diseases have sprung up and are leading cause of mortality during the Covid waves has been those with underlying kidney diseases. People fail to get their treatment done for want of funds. Looking at this, leading multi-specialty hospital NHS Hospital, Jalandhar has started free of cost dialysis facility to the patients as a part of their CSR initiative.
The campaign started today with Deputy commissioner Jalandhar, Mr Ghanshyam Thori inaugurating the dialysis unit at Nhs Hospital.
Director of the hospital, Dr Shubhang Aggarwal explained that kidney diseases are on the rise and people suffer big financial burden if dialysis becomes a routine for them.
The average cost of a dialysis is between Rs.2500-Rs.3000 in a private hospital but we will be offering it free of cost.
