Jamman Kawali taken out of hot spot area list
This village was notified a hot spot area on April 18
Dharamshala: Jamman Kawali village of Rajpur Jaswan Panchayat under Amb Sub-Division has been excluded from the list of hot spot areas. Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Kumar told at Una on Saturday that this village was notified a hot spot area on April 18 after a Corona Positive person was found here. All his primary and secondary contacts were monitored and their tests were conducted. No new case came out during the last 28 days.
On the recommendation of the District Monitoring Officer, this village was taken out of the hot spot list as no new had been reported in the stipulated period. As per instructions of Health and Family Welfare Ministry, the village would remain under monitoring. Social distancing, frequent and thorough hand washing, wearing mask etc. will be mandatory for people of this area. There will be relaxation in curfew from 8am to 3pm daily from Sunday.
Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Kumar said here at Una on Satruday that Ward number 9 of Haroli panchayat under Haroli Sub-Division had been sealed after reporting of one Covid-19 positive case on May 16 as a precautionary measure.
In his orders the Deputy Commissioner says that to contain the threat of Corona virus in the area, this ward will observe complete curfew without any relaxation. All essential items will be supplied at the doorsteps of people including ration. Ward number one, two; three and seven of Haroli have been declared buffer zones.
Sandeep Kumar told that contact history of the positive case would be looked into. Samples of all people coming from red zone will be collected after keeping them in institutional quarantine for five to six days. Persons with negative report will be sent to home to complete their home quarantine of 14 days.
