Phillaur/Jalandhar, August 26, 2024: Janmashtami was celebrated with mirth and joy at DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur. The event was marked by the vibrant participation of the tiny tots from kindergarten, who were beautifully dressed as Radha and Krishna, adding to the festive atmosphere.

A special assembly was organised to commemorate this auspicious day, where students depicted mesmerizing choreography related to Lord Krishna's life. Their performances, set to the tunes of Shri Krishna's songs, captured the essence of the festival and filled the air with devotion and joy. The highlight of the day was the Dahi Handi event, which brought an extra layer of excitement and joy to the celebrations.

An inter-house dance competition for students from classes III to V was also held, showcasing the student's talent and enthusiasm. The competition was judged by Ms. Sharmila, who praised the students for their excellent performances. Dignity House emerged victorious, while Prosperity House secured the second position.
