~ 700 students from 40+ centres in India participated in the informative and educational seminar~

CHandigarh, May 28, 2019: JD Institute of Fashion Technology, a pioneer in the field of design education for the past 30 years, today held a Master Seminar in its New Delhi campus. Eminent industry stalwarts such as fashion designer Rina Dhaka, interior designer Lipika Sud, designers Rimple and Harpreet Narula, and leading business coach Saurabh Kaushik interacted with the students through a webinar and shared their experience and knowledge about their respective industries.

More than 600 student-designers participated in this seminar, including students from across 40+ centres of JD Institute of Fashion Technology. They also counselled the students and shared valuable tips for “The Fashion Award 2019”. The event was spread over four sessions, each followed by a Q&A session with the experts.

Ms Rupal Dalal, Executive Director, JD Institute of Fashion Technology, said, “We are delighted that luminaries like Rina Dhaka, Lipika Sud, Rimple and Harpreet and Saurabh Kaushik are sharing their knowledge and wisdom with Jediiians in the shape of a Master Seminar. We have always focused on providing industry exposure to the students and the seminar is a huge platform where students from all over India gets an opportunity for new learnings.”

The seminar was a prelude to the institute’s main annual event - "The Fashion Awards 2019". Over 800 students across disciplines such as fashion designing, interior designing, jewellery designing, textile designing will present their designs inspired by the theme, SWITCH.
