Jimpa and Nijjar reiterate government's commitment to boost industry in Punjab
Ludhiana to get 24-hour canal water supply after three years -Nijjar
Ludhiana, September 16, 2022: Punjab Revenue Minister Bram Shankar Jimpa and Local Bodies Minister Dr Inderbir Singh Nijjar on Friday said that Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was taking every necessary step to boost investments in the industrial sector.
Jimpa and Nijjar, after presiding over an event organized by AAP Trade and Industry Wing, said that Punjab government was working on a new industrial policy and a draft had also been approved by Chief Minister recently. They said that new policy would give a major push to industry thus creating more job opportunities for the youths of state. They said that industry was the engine of economic growth of state and all out efforts were being made to facilitate industrialists and traders in the state.
Later addressing the people, Bram Shankar Jimpa said that a major drive was underway to weed out corruption from revenue department and transparent services were being ensured to the people.
Meanwhile, Dr Nijjar said that Ludhiana would get 24-hour canal water supply after three years when surface water project gets complete.
Later, they also honoured the representatives of Traders wing and said that they could approach them anytime regarding any issue which would be solved promptly.
