Ludhiana: Foreign goods were boycotted and burnt during the independence movement. Continuing that tradition, in this second struggle for independence from corporates and communalists, all the products of Jio are being boycotted as per the program given by the Kisan Andolan. It has been started with burning of Jio sims.

A large number of people gathered near the BSNL office at Bharat Nagar Chowk to protest against the pro-corporate and anti-people policies of the Modi government. They supported the ongoing struggle of the farmers.

The speakers said that these laws are not for the betterment of farmers but a way to hand over the agri business to the corporate houses. They warned the government to address the issue by accepting the demands of the farmers so that the issue does not escalate further.

Among others who addressed the gathering were Dr. Arun Mitra, Prof. Jaipal Singh, Sukhminder Singh Lotey, DP Maur, Ramesh Ratan, Vinod Tiwari, Ghanshyam, Vijay Kumar, M.S. Bhatia, Chamkaur Singh.
