Journalism and Mass Communication Department of DAV College organized "Creative Mind" online competition

Jalandhar: The "Creative Mind" online competition was organized by the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of DAV College, Jalandhar in collaboration with Creative Adda in which there were various competitions like Poetry, Photography and Audio ad. In this competition, students took part not only from Jalandhar but also from many other colleges and universities of North India. In which HMV College, Jalandhar, CT Group Shahpur, DAV University, Kurukshetra University, Chandigarh University, Chitkara University, Kumar Mangalam University, Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa etc. were prominent.

On this occasion, the Principal of the college, Dr. S. K. Arora said that during this lockdown, there is a great need for such competitions which provides the students sitting at home a chance to display their art. And it is a very commendable achievement for us that not only Jalandhar but many colleges and universities of North India participated in this competition. The entire journalism and mass communication department deserves praise for this.

Prof. Meenakshi Sidhu, Head of Journalism and Mass Communication Department said that we are happy that we have organized a competition that gives students the opportunity to showcase their art in Lockdown. Journalism and mass communication is an area in which people can do a lot from home. This will instill in the students the passion that they can build their future even sitting at home. They should just know to use the hidden art inside them. And such competitions give them hope.

During this time, she also thanked Prof. Jyoti Vardhan Mahajan, Coordinator of the competition who made this competition a success . Apart from this, she also thanked the entire team of "Creative Adda" for their collaboration with us.
