Jalandhar, April 22, 2022: GNA Business School at GNA University organized a Motivational Session cum Talk Series on the topic Walking a Hundred Milestones: Journey from a Housewife to a Corporate Queen for the students and faculty members of GNA University.
The main objective behind holding this motivational talk was to encourage our students and the faculty members to be innovative and face the real-life challenges with dint of hard work and achieve milestones with the passing of every year.
The revered resource person cum the keynote speaker for the session was Padma Shree Awardee Ms. Rajni Bector, Founder & CEO of Ms. Bector Food Specialities and Cremica Group of Companies.
The Talk Series was moderated by Mr. Gaurav K. Mangar, Assistant Professor, GNA Business School. The session commenced with the floral welcoming of the chief guest S. Gurdeep Singh Sihra, President & Pro-Chancellor, GNA University.
During the session, many questions were answered by the resource person with regards to her journey so far of starting her ice-cream business with Rs 300 and building an empire worth crore so far. She talked about her challenges so far and how she overcame all of them with her boldness and sincerity. She also gave a description about her business diversification and also elucidated about her inspiration i.e., her husband and how she has had a continuous support of him. At the end, she motivated the students to be a continuous learner, a dedicated being in life and never stop trying as that would lead them to a successful career.
The session was a fruitful one where in students were enthusiastic and the attendees showed their inquisitiveness towards the life of Ms. Bector and asked different questions on her entrepreneurial journey.
The event concluded with on an encouraging and a learning note with the Vote of Thanks by Dr. Monika Hanspal, Dean Academics, GNA University.
